Maw N Paws Mobile Grooming is owned and operated by Beth Haire.  Beth has lived in the area her entire life.  She graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1988.  She was actively involved in FFA and enjoyed caring for her projects.  She continued her love for animals into college where she majored in Animal Science.  She has had a passion for horses and all animals her entire life.  

While in high school she found a job at the age of 16 working for a busy grooming salon in NW Houston where she started out as a bather and acquired more responsibilities that flowed into learning how to groom.  She took those skills and expand them by working under various well  known pet stylists in the industry today.   She also has 9 years of grooming experience in a veterinary setting where the recognition on skin disorders and their solutions have proved helpful in helping clients relieve their pets of skin issues.   

She has been involved the pet styling industry for 24 years and constantly striving to stay on top of the latest techniques by attending grooming seminars, conventions, symposiums and occassionally competing in grooming competitions when time allows.  

Beth is a single parent of 3 children and owned by 2 dogs, Dixie, a spoiled rotten Shih Tzu (shhh! She doesn't know she's a dog!) and a very comical boxer, Rufus (or better known as "rooroo").   We also have a few hamsters "Opie", "Smokey", and "Smack" and 2 guinea pigs "Penelope" and "Alice" and  2 very noisy parakeets "Pickles" and "Max". 

     She remembers Spring, Texas as nothing but cow pastures and The Woodlands when it was nothing but trees and very little houses. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and fishing and camping.

 Yeah...a dog's life is pretty hard!

Our Business

Maw N Paws has been in operation for over 8 years.  Beth bought the business in October of 2003 and has owned and operated it ever since.  We strive to make your pet's grooming experience as pleasant as possible, and yeah, we tend to spoil them a little every chance we get too!   We strive to stay on top of the pet styling industry by attending seminars and grooming competitions to keep up with the latest techniques, style and technology available in the grooming industry today.  She also competes and gets invaluable feedback and critique from the top pet stylists in today's insdustry as time and availability of competition worthy dogs allow. 

We may be looking for your special pet!  If your pet has a great coat and good table manners and we feel we could do well we may approach you on the subject. This would mean **FREE** grooming for you and with today's financial woes who doesn't like FREE!?!  What are we looking for?  Toy or miniature poodles, bichons or Kerry Blues with good coats. Possibilities also include Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, Soft Coated Wheaton Terriers, mixed breeds, Shih Tzu, and Lhasas and anything you might not mind a bit of color added to!

Maw N Paws is family owned and operated.  Occasionally during the summer or on school holidays we have some extra help.

Stephanie:  Dog pamperer, spoiler extraordinaire, helper.  Stephanie is the oldest and LOVES to pamper the pets!  

Rachel:   Aspiring to be a veterinarian and wants to attend and graduate from Texas A&M school of veterinary medicine

Colton:  Helper, best bather and poodle fluffing kid known!

April 2005 First place non sporting using client's Miniature Poodle at Lonestar Pet Conference.  First time on the grooming circuit! YEAH!
