Rainbow Bridge

Your pet(s) become a special part of a groomer's life.  We hopefully see them on a regular
basis and we get to share an hour or two every few weeks of special time, and yes each pet has it's own special personality that becomes a part of our life and gets close to our own heart.  Some we get the chance to do the very first groom on, and
if we're fortunate enough, we get to keep seeing them till the very last one.  It's always very sad to get that call that a pet has passed away.  I can't count how many times I've shed tears over a client's pet that has passed on to the bridge, knowing I'll never get to see that one come walking through my doors with that something about them that made them so special.

This page is dedicated to all the wonderful pets that I've been graced with upon my grooming table that have gone on to the rainbow bridge. I believe there is a special place for our pets once they pass on and I really hope there is a special place up there for all the groomers so that when we too pass on, we get to be re-united with not only our own pets we've lost,  but all the ones we've had the pleasure of grooming that have touched our lives too as much as they did yours.  I sure look forward to all those cold wet noses, kisses and waggin' tails!

The Rainbow Bridge

just this side of Heaven is a special place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes on to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run
and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our
friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and
vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong
again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;  they
each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly
stops and looks into the distance.  His bright eyes are intent; his eager
body quivers.  Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the
green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally
meet, you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted
again.

The happy kisses rain upon you face; your hands again caress the
beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,
so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.  Then you
cross  Rainbow Bridge together.......
